It's nice to hear that you like it I used the application Groupy to create those headers and I've put a custom background (a black picture with that orange line in it) behind it. I resized the Groupy tile to the smallest size. It's as simple as that Alternatively you can use Wiztiles.

Tons of apps do this. You can even make a picture in Draw or something, then create a fake contact with that picture as its profile picture, and pin that fake contact to the homescreen.

What app did you use for the wifi/cellular tiles?

It's called Quick Settings. Can't live without it There is also a Flight Mode switch available in that app btw that you can pin to your start screen.
