i do like the htc time tile. anyone know if theres one for everyone else?
yep, TimeMe. It looks almost identical, except of the dots between hours and minutes, they're round. The problem is that store apps are only allowed to update their tile every 30 minutes, so you need to developer unlock your device with an official developer account in order to deploy the app. just look at my post on the top of the site, that's timeMe

yea I tweeted every Nokia twitter account and windowsphone letting them know about the timeme app, and told Nokia to make it a Lumia exclusive , give it OEM access so it updates correctly. Thanks for sharing how to make the app update correctly but paying $99 a year is a high price to get one app to work. I also wish Nokia would deliver this app like HTC did for it really is a must have app in my opinion. Or MS would allow this developer to update the tile allowing for time to function in a "timely" manner.
On a side note I still cannot log into this website from my computer so I can only post from my phone. They know about this problem but I am very surprised that after 4 months they still haven't gotten it resolved.
Well $49.99 is a lot better. I was looking at where and how to do it but it is confusing. If you can give a bit more info on how as well as getting your hands on the app once you register (is there a link?) then some of us may consider doing it. I wanted that app from the minute I saw it on an HTC but since I am running a Lumia 920 the TimeMe is a perfect solution. Does Microsoft get upset though when regular people who really have no interest in "development" join just to have access to apps?yea I tweeted every Nokia twitter account and windowsphone letting them know about the timeme app, and told Nokia to make it a Lumia exclusive , give it OEM access so it updates correctly.
Obviously nothing will probably happen, but its worth a try.
An individual developer account is only 49.99 a year now, but still that's a lot of money for only a handful of useful homebrew apps

I re-tweeted every one of those tweets. Everybody here should do it. Search for "timeme wp8" (without the quotes) in Twitter and you'll see the relevant tweets.
awesome lets make this happen
How is your battery life when the tile updates continually like that?
I can't imagine it would be too bad either. Thanks for the response!I don't know I don't have a developer account, but the HTC phones have this so I don't think it makes any difference since its only 1 app
Anytime. I went ahead and emailed Nokia to try and get TimeMe as a Nokia exclusive ..... Prolly won't help but we should all try!
Almost wonder if we should start a new thread about it , instead of semi hijacking this one hahaha
yes, we should start a new thread that can a. give TimeMe proper exposure and b. be used as a pointer to show Nokia the amount of interest the community has.Anytime. I went ahead and emailed Nokia to try and get TimeMe as a Nokia exclusive ..... Prolly won't help but we should all try!

I will do it via the Nokia feedback section in settings. I have already written them I wanted an app like the HTC one. Now I will state that TimeMe would be perfect and that they should support it
TimeMe is fully worth it's own thread, but it does get good exposure being here as well. We Nokia users have been sorely missing that kind of app.
