Power button lag on wifi fixed with GDR1?

I'm not seeing the lag on wifi anymore when pressing the power button to wake. I noticed it immediately after installing. At work and home. Used to be consistently a couple seconds. Is it better for anyone else?

My lag is still there on my home network; haven't tried anything else.

But in good news: the phone has been feeling significantly cooler since I updated to GDR1!

Same here. Strange thing is its not constant. Sometimes its as bad as 4-5 seconds. Then ten minutes later there's no lag. Still annoying

Do you have Cortana running in the background and/or medium or wide tile pinned? If yes, try turning her off and unpinning or going with the small tile.

Yes the lag is still there and yes the phone feels cooler since the update
