Qi wattage support by 950(XL)

I already have a Qi charger I bought with my Lumia 920, but I've just bought a used 950 without the original charger. So I'm just wondering how much wattage the 950 support through Qi. You can now buy 10W and 15W Qi chargers, but can the Lumia 950 take advantage of these?

When empty it starts charging with 2.5 A, and then towards end of charge it drops down to 0.8 A. So a 10W is a bit tight, get a 15W for it will run colder during the initial charge.

But is this not only through USB-C and not Qi wireless charging?

QI chargers suffer from great loss in energy transfer, so to get full 1A (QI 1.0 spec.) to the phone it needs to draw (input current) at least 2.5 amps. Those are the amps/wattages I referred to.
