Question for those with the AT&T LTE Surface 3

I'm having performance issues with my AT&T Surface 3. The main issue is touch/swipe lag. I verified the normal Surface 3 64s don't seem to have this problem. They were much more fluid and responsive.

If anyone is willing try the following:

Fast pen of finger strokes in Fresh Paint. Do they keep up or fall behind when you go fast.

Check the visual touch strokes in Cut the Rope and Fruit Ninja. Do they stick to your finder or does the visual trail lag behind your finger?

Do cards move around smoothly in Solitaire?

Here is another test, draw a circle really fast in fresh paint. The store models worked OK but mine will make straight polygon lines, kind of like a pentagon if I draw fast.

Wound up just being a defective device. AT&T replaced it. It was just really slow for some unexplained reason.

I have two Surface 3 units, one 64GB/LTE and a 128GB model. I have noticed it takes a bit more effort to swipe close applications. A few times the touch screen has become completely unresponsive, and was forced to restart. That hasn't happened on my other unit yet. I'm honestly just waiting for Windows 10 to see if it still happens.

But it seems like it may be more of a recent driver or firmware upgrade and not specific to LTE or Windows 10. The engineers are looking at the issue at least. Hopefully it won't be too long but I'm sure they are in for a busy week. I'm feeling patient now that I know the issue is being addressed (hopefully).
