Replacing my Lumia 920 and GRD3

I was just curious if anyone would happen to know if I would be able to retain my GRD3 update if I change my handset. My father accidentally ran over my Lumia 920 and the screen is cracked but everything works just fine. For aesthetic purposes I wish to use my insurance to get a new phone. I am not an app developer, but rather an enthusiast who downloaded the app preview. Thank you very much for your time and your help!

yes it should still work, just remove the other phone from your account and use the email with the new one
