A total misunderstanding of the way WP backup works = User error....

I remember Apple had a similar view back in the early days of the iPhone. Users were holding it wrong. Seems they didn't understand how the antenna worked.

I think I'll wait for MS to fix the bitlocker issue and restore my ability to upgrade direct from DP 8.1 GDR1

Developers have to enable the backup App Data feature in their apps. That has been stated and never hidden this whole time.
