Setup streaming server on 1020 using Seagate Goflex?

I have a wireless router and a seagate goflex connected to iy, the seagate has a lot of content in it, music, movies and tutorials.

Now what I wish to do is see that content in my phone using wifi (no internet connection would be required I guess?) without the need for a laptop, copying sh*t from the seagate to the phone, how can this be done?

You might do better posting this in the Windows 8 forum. It will get more visibility, and I don't imagine any solution would be unique to the 1020.

Why?
Its about the Lumia 1020 and the Seagate drive, has nothing to do with the pc (Don't even use W8, am on W7)
