Most active apps are located on the right side of the screen, so that it would be easier to access with right thumb. I also like the folder concept, I use it very intensively with playlists. In the latest builds of Groove, it is so cool that you have to tap to folder, tap to album cover and music will start playing without Grove app launching, I think it is very convenient. In contrast, it is not convenient with contacts. I have pinned few people, and when I tap on them, their card is opened first and then I have to press call button to call.
Here are a couple current ones im using, and an older one. I like the standard fullscreen tile layout as well, but felt the need for something different. Lots of inspiration in this thread! Keep it going.
What accent colors and transparency settings did you use on the last one black wallpaper of space to have the delimitation of the tiles visible while not seeing any colors for the tiles ???
I use the native Win 10 settings combined with the TileGap app to achieve that experience. For the backgrounds you can use pretty much any background image online.
I think the best thing is that you can have tiles when you want... And other times you can have very small icons, or both! Android and iOS can't have tiles, so Windows is more versatile.
