Nokia 6040 >> Nokia 5130 >> Nolia e55 >> Lumia 520 >> lumia 820 >> lumia 920 >> nexus 4 >> Xperia z2 >> galaxy s3 >> lg g3 >> lumia 630 (cause of dead g3) And in family there's lumia 640 xl and lumia 535 and many friends had lumias
Yes, I can call myself a kind of a lumia guy...
I always had nokias, lumia 520 was my first smartphone. I liked it very much, it was nearly on par with android and ios and felt really strong. I got into wpc and other lumia related stuff, and started recommending lumias to my friends and relatives. And they liked it too. 2 years passed, i broke my 520, got 820 real cheap, then 920 quickly after that. Participated in wm10 fast ring. Then late 2015 i started to feel lack of things, wp/wm started to get behind competition, my friends were no longer stisfied with their phones too and got other brands. In early 2016 I decided that this was it, i wanted support and apps, so I went android way and never looked back, because i was kind of hurt and angry at ms for abandoning wp, betraying me as a fan and "stepping away from mobile game" which really ment dying despite the number of "windows is not dead" articles written by Daniel Rubino (kudos to him for all these years) or some other guys... Yesterday my g3 basically gave up on me becajse of screen flickering issue so i'm forced to use lumia 630 for now. And it's painful... Feels like a step back, because, well, it acctually is. It was awesome in 2012, but today it's 2017 and wm10 hasn't gone too far from 8 or 8.1. Yes, it's gorgeus, yes nokia design and hardware is awesome, yes it is good to look at. But no, it's not what I would call a smartphone in 2017. To me it's just nostalgia of bygone time.
Aaaand I overdid this, didn't I?
