Sharing or backing up pictures via Skydrive

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum.

I purchased my Lumia 1520 a couple of weeks ago, and I love it. But I can't get pictures to auto backup or share via Skydrive. In the camera settings, SkyDrive is turned off, and it is greyed out -- I cannot turn it on. In the SkyDrive app itself, I have Photo Upload Size to Original and same for download size.

Also, when I go to share a picture, Skydrive is greyed out -- not an option.

Am I missing something?

Are you in the US on AT&T? Might be something to do with countries...?

I'm on AT&T. On WiFi most of the time, still can't share then, though.

go to setting / backup and check if in photos the upload is activated

I checked that setting and all the picture options are greyed out there as well. Very frustrating.

Thank you for that question. It was just enough direction to figure out the problem, which is that I did not have a MS account in my settings. Even though SkyDrive was set to backup things like apps and texts, without the Microsoft account in there, SkyDrive would not backup pictures. Interesting. But at least it is all fixed now. Gracias.
