Shipping early?

I had this same discussion with a Microsoft sales person yesterday. I explained that Apple manages to ship them so that everyone gets theirs on the same launch day. The sales rep told me I could pay for overnight shipping if I wanted it faster, but he thought it was only going to ship on Friday.

actually, I received differing updates from the Microsoft reps on chat last week. One of them confirmed it will be delivered on 20th, another stated it will be shipped on 20th, and two others maintained the official version "ships by 6/20". My take: the reps simply don't know because they have not been trained to provide any specific response to this question. Also, the option of overnight shipping does not exist to the best of my knowledge so this rep you were talking to, was probably making up things.
Let's watch our PayPal and credit card accounts 06/18 and 06/19. I'd put my money on the charges being posted to our accounts 06/18...

I talked to a Microsoft rep and he told me I would receive it on Friday. It annoys me that they don't know. I'm wondering if I should cancel my order and go to the Microsoft store and reserve one.

I woke up this morning with a shipping confirmation from Microsoft for my surface pro 3 and blue typecover. Shipping via UPS Worldwide saver (I am in Canada), so it should be delivered on Friday!

Same thing this morning, my i5/256GB model as well as my blue type cover was shipped. Would be awesome if it got here by Friday. I honestly wasn't expecting it to be shipped till the 20th.

I don't know if this makes any difference but this was from their Canadian store. I would imagine if its shipping out to Canada now it would be for all of NA.

I just got a email from Microsoft on my phone, and it popped up "Microsoft" in the notification pane. I was like 'Yay! My shipping conformation!'.....

Turned out to be a email from Microsoft notifying a change in the Terms of Service.

I think I should go do something else other than sit here refreshing my email...

Haha... good to have company. I have it connected to my MBP at the moment. I bought a couple of other accessories too. A USB media card reader, a HooToo USB/Ethernet adapter. I'll probably order a Mini Display Port to VGA adapter soon. :smile:

Just check it ONE more time... then go do something else. Like take a nap. Then wake up and check it again right away.
