Should I purchase new Verizon 735 or Used Lumia Icon

I am thinking about getting a Verizon Windows phone. I definitely want Verizon due to superior coverage in my area. I have fooled around with a 630 so I am familiar with Windows Phone.

My main reason for getting the 735 is ability to to add an SD card. My main apprehension is Camera quality. I currently have an Iphone 5 which I am very happy with EXCEPT for it's only 16gb and I just can't get my head around paying $750 for a 64gig Iphone 6.

Main reason for Lumia Icon is the camera. Apprehension is limited to 32 gig.

Anyone know if the 735 camera is nearly as good as the Iphone 5?? I certainly have no qualms about the Lumia Icon camera.

Anyone know if the Lumia Icon or the 735 battery will last longer???

I have both the 735 and the Icon. Battery on either (when new) will last more than a day with moderate use. My Icon still lasts more than a full day, but has decreased from more than 2 full days since I got it when it first came out. The 735 lasts about 2 days with moderate use. The camera on the 735 is fine, but since you have mentioned the camera several times I'd hazard to say you won't be happy in the long run. I can't compare it to an iPhone, but I think there are photo comparisons online either here, or maybe on Thurrott.com or arstechnica.com. The pics from the Icon are fantastic.

It depends on what's most important to you, the battery or camera? The Icon's camera is better than iPhones camera's, battery is around the same as the iPhone. Only thing the 735 has over the Icon is expandable memory.

ICON /930 is current flagship while 735 are mid tier.

Remember ICON take full advantages of denim firmware and perform great on long term.

On the other hand 735 isn't too expensive which allow you to upgrade later

Well you'd be at least able to play with the 735 when it comes to Verizon but there wont be an Icon there. Gonna have to take a chance of buying an Icon I guess. Depends on when you need it by too.

I have an Icon, and just went and bought the 735 for the hell if it. I tell you what...if it wasn't for the camera, I could probably switch. I love the feel of the 735...i love the customization (bought a cyan and red battery cover). But a 6.7megapixel camera is blah next to the Icon's 13. I'd say go with the Icon if the camera is important to you. But the 735 is a great little phone.

I just traded in my iPhone 6 for the Microsoft Lumia 735. I think he camera is just as good as on the iPhone. Sure iPhone has a few more camera features to use but quality wise I think the 735 is a great little camera. I usually us a DSLR for my photography but when I want to get a quick shot of something I don't want to loose the Lumia will do just fine. My battery on the 735 lasts longer then on the iPhone.

My wife broke her Icon, got her a 735. She loves the smaller form factor and the camera still takes good pictures.
We have too many QI chargers to not get another Lumia!
