Brought my lumia 1020 on launch day uk kept in a case with screen protector since day one.

Today I was using my camera case and took it out to charge it in the car. Upon bringing it back into the house first time out of case.

New feel to the phone and slipped right out of my hand fell right onto the tarmac first in my way so I stood on the phone. And kicked it! Could not believe it.

All four corners damaged and screen 90% untouched apart from a crack at the bottom. Chipped like.

For the accident that occurred Im impressed. Cant believe I did it after looking after it so much.

Where in uk can I get a decent screen repair close to Woking? Anyone know

Yeah, there is one near sandhurst which isn't too far. Quoted me ?215, but they need to check tomorrow for an more upto date price.

Nope will only replace the whole front ?190 will have to wait a bit its not that serious just cosmetic

Why don't you do it yourself? Would be much cheaper and is not at all difficult..

Yeah looks easy, but I know if I mess up could do more damage.
