So, been about 2 months and is the SP2 ready for prime time yet?

I've deployed a couple of SP2's with 22" touch screen monitors as workstations. Testing.

One of them is me.

Mine is configured as a network management machine. No games. Very little personal use.

So far it is amazing. And I have no serious complaints.

I do look forward to a well defined docking station. But I'm not unhappy with the 3rd party port Replicator.

I think it is plenty ready for prime time. And combined with my Lumia 1520, the entire W8 ecosystem has been a pleasing experience.

I picked up my keyboard off eBay and saved $70 bucks buying it used.

I don't have the SP2 yet.. it's being shipped... no keyboard... that's out of stock.. also they are out of stock of extended warranty, as strange as it sounds.
In any case, I'll be using my Surface Pro 2 for programming (C/C++, C#, Java, Flash, PHP/HTML/CSS) and taking in class notes. I need the digitize pen for math related courses, diagrams, graphs, special symbols and such.. sometimes that was a huge headache with my laptop.

Wait for them to start shipping the updated processor model (man im sort of jealous)

They already are, but I have discovered, that it is locked at 2.6GHz... it won't go to 2.9GHz...
So, in the end, there is no difference :/
