I plan getting my first WP since my Treo running WinMo. I see new WP buyers can get $25 in free Apps. I tried looking through the Marketplace website at the "Top Apps", but besides games, they are mostly ringtone makers, kamasutra books, and "sexy photos", etc... lol So im not really looking for games or a GPS App. I have a tablet for those.

What I would pay for are:

A golf GPS App
an app to remove the camera snap sound
an app to reconcile my checkbook. There is one I really like for Blackberry called Mobile Checkbook. Mobile Checkbook for BlackBerry - BlackBerry Mobile Banking - Mobile Checkbook
A weather app that is accurate and has a nice live tile or really follows the metro UI look.
a good video podcast app (specifically Revision3 content) hope I would not have to pay for this.

I dont even know what else. Let me know any must have or common paid Apps please.

spb tv It's free and has a lot of channels.

Don't know what phone you are getting, but HTC has a nice weather hub and it's free.

Executive Caddy for your golfing needs. Its expensive (19.99) but worth it if your hardcore about golf

Also, if you have or are going to get a Samsung phone, the Now Hub covers your weather problem (in addition to stocks and basic news).Otherwise just use The Weather Channel or Accuweather.

LazyTube (Metro Tube soon) - BEST YouTube client!

Keep looking, there are tons of great apps out there. You can turn off the shutter sound on the camera in Mango. When you get your wp7, you will be more than satisfied. You can also get an app called "AppFlow" which shows many of the top and best apps that the marketplace has a hard time doing.
