So when are you buying your Windows Phone 8?

I'm really going to see what T-MO brings in. The wife and kids like there Lumia 710 but complain it's to small. My HD7 is on it's last leg. so right off with mine and later on for the other 4 sets

Most likely as the dust settles, but I could get impatient and buy one on release day.

Looking forward to see all the devices. Currently the ATIV S is looking good, but I want to hold one to see if I like the size. I also want to see more of what the other manufacturers are bringing.

Interesting answer all of y'all...keep' em coming...

Like I said...my granny said "Yes" so am gonna buy one as soon as I get my kind of device (read the HTC 8X)...
:P

Can't wait to see what other OEM offer, I am pretty sure that Nokia and Samsung will release their phone first, I think HTC X8 will be later this fall, maybe mid-october

i might have to order the white lumia 820 online unlocked because school is in full swing again :dry. even though there is a t-mobile store within walking distance from my house. I have never been so agar to shell out around $350 for an unlocked windows phone 8 device!

As soon as Sprint gets one or as soon as my family becomes tired of Sprint.
Never have been able to figure out that Sprint game plan. Their decisions on their devices are somtimes amazing (their GS2 was arguably the best of the bunch, original EVO, and the original Epic), somtimes baffeling (A 3-D phone as a Hero device? The pricing on the The new Motorola Photon Q, Spending twice as much as Verizon to get the iPhone?) and sometimes outright stupid (The Echo??? The Blackberry Style??? Ignoring WP 8 when your competition are all excited by it??).

There are advantages to Sprint, but boy they do make it tuff to love them....

When all of Windows Phone released in the market, and then the phone will be cheaper. I want to buy the new Nokia Lumia.

But Oh Em Gee, you can bump your phone and share stuff... like pics! We don't have to give out emails or phone numbers to share our porn collection! Wait... tell me again why NFC is so desirable? :straight:

@Winning Guy ... it's call SkyDrive!!

You can use it for all sorts of useful things - at home when I put my tablet down, it kills the wifi, turns on my alarm and puts it into bedside mode. When I'm in the kitchen, it opens evernote and my cookbook. In my office, if I put it on my desk in a certain place it fires up spotify, when I tap it against my planning whiteboard it starts my "to-do list" and "calendar" app.

As for the wider question I don't see anything so far that would make me trade up from my lumia 800 at this point in time (I buy outright).

My upgrade goes live on November 1st. So I shouldn't have to wait more than a few days to order one with my upgrade discount. Plus i'm on AT&T and boy am I happy about that.

Hopefully as the dust settles. Unfortunately, I'm applying for a job in an Apple store so I could end up getting dragged onto iPhone... Gah!

Income Tax Time 2013 for me. By that time they will have been on market for a while and will have reviews and forum's section to read to help in decision making.
my thoughts exactly. Plus that should give me a pretty good idea on what Sprint is going to do by February. I should know by then if Sprint is in with a top tier or midrange. Top tier or Im out
