Solved: FM Radio is available on AT&T Lumia 920 with Black update

Hi Guys,

There is a bit of a strange thing happened in last 3 days for me, I am using Lumia Black ATT Rom on my phone and I know they have blocked Data Sense and FM Radio.
3 Days back all of sudden when I unlocked my phone, it had the RADIO App opened up, In a hurry to check if the app was now available somehow I accidentally closed the same.
Next day I was on a call and as soon as call got disconnected I had a loud static sound from my phone, there were no active apps, but when I pressed the volume button found that RADIO was somehow on, even after trying a lot of things I was not able to change station or anything.
I searched net for a day and found that I may be the first guy to encounter this, thought there were some hack codes which could enable it but did not find any.
Please find the screenshots for the proof, that I have RADIO available on ATT rom.

FM radio isn't blocked on the AT&T 920. I have it. It's been there since I installed Black update.

This is a good news I did not know that Black update allowed us FM Radio, as I checked many forums and threads but no one has mentioned it.

Great to know, I see you are a Mod, so can you please have something written to show that FM is available on ATT Roms, there may be people like me who are unaware of this fact.

maybe add "Solved: FM Radio available on ...." because for many of us that is pretty obvious. There was some confusion about this topic when it came out but it was eventually common knowledge.

Too bad you didn't find that DataSense works :winktongue:

FM radio has worked since the Amber/GDR2 update. I've used it every day since. At&t Lumia 920.

You are probably trying to use the radio in Music, this is for Xbox subscribers.
Use the FM Radio in the app list. This is the one.
