Song Playback

I recently got the Lumia 550 to get me by while my Blackberry is in for repair. Overall, I like the OS and what it offers. One thing I have been wondering is if the only way to control song playback is through the on screen buttons. Is there no option for my volume toggles to change songs on a long press? This seems like a pretty basic feature. I am missing it somehow in the settings?

Sorry, there is no such option. Only way is through the drop down by pressing volume or downloading an app and pin those controls to the start menu.

That's a huge downer for me. Even my Blackberry can do that!

Veeeery useful.... 2 users on ten thousand in forum noticed that :winktongue:
My old N7x series Nokias did that but with 2 more keys on earphones

I'm jokin, most of Lumia user doesn't feel the need of that, and the others use valid 3rd party apps
