SORRY guys for making this thread..

I am in a very bad state of confusion. My exact issue is this:

SURFACE 3 OR SURFACE PRO 3?

Now why the confusion:

CONFUSION 1

I live in the UAE (Dubai), and here is what has happened:

SURFACE 3 - Official partner selling online + good deal BUT NO KEYBOARD

SURFACE PRO 3 - NO OFFICIAL RESELLER selling BUT GOOD DEAL And KEYBOARD AVAILABLE.


CONFUSION 2

Then, I am not sure if 10.8" will be enough for me as I am on a 13" MACBOOK AIR.

And, is the performance of the SURFACE 3 Good enough?

ThIngs I WON'T use on my SURFACE 3:

Photoshop

Illustrator

Video Editing software

ThIngs I WILL use on my SURFACE 3:

YouTube

Word

PowerPoint

Excel

GAMES! (Counter Strike etc)

Basic browsing.

Please help me out!

For your use scenario, the surface 3 is good enough but only if you have the cover/keyboard.
Surface pro 4 is a better version of the surface 3 and if you get the keyboard, go for it

Which Keyboard goes with Surface 3? And I honestly don't care for the Pen as I fear I might damage the screen. Is any other Surface keyboard compatible with the S3?

Also, the Surface 3 is being phased out, supplies are limited. No word on when the Surface Pro 3 is going to be phased out.

Hate to say it, but the keyboard is a worthy purchase. You can get by with the onscreen keyboard, but the physical keyboard makes things so much nicer. Also don't underestimate the pen. It's awkward to use in the beginning, but eventually you start freaking out when you can't find it because it turns out to be very useful.

Get the one made for the Surface 3. The others will likely work, but they physically won't match the size and shape of the non-Pro 3.

The Surface 3 will be OK for that basic usage and Counterstrike if you're playing older games.
I have my reservations that Global Offensive will run that well.

The Pro 3 is a better thing to rival your Macbook.

Almost half the Surface experience (and literally) is the keyboard, so get it.
