Why can't the Surface 3 do a split screen to show multiple apps when in tablet mode? This is very disappointing and a big step backwards. Or, is it supposed to be able to do multiple apps and I am missing something?
Turn your screen to the landscape (sideways) and flick down on the current app that's opened and it's pushed to one side leaving any other apps that are in the background available. Click any one and you'll have split screen mode, slightly different than 8.1 but multitasking is still there in Windows 10.
Are you able to do this on a Surface 3 in tablet mode? I can do it in desktop, but not tablet. When I pull down on an app in tablet mode, I can drag to the bottom of the screen to close, but I can't snap.
Found my problem. In the display settings, the 'Change the size of text, apps, and other items' setting was pushed to 100%. Sliding this back to 150%, the recommended setting, restored the split screen feature. Thanks for the help!
