Surface dock and multiple monitors

Hi

Over the weekend I set up my pro 4 to drive 2 4k monitors using the dock for the pro 4, pretty cool.

However,
1) I have noticed that when I connect to the dock, wifi drops. I have all the latest updates.
2) When my surface goes to sleep and I wake it up, all the apps that were open on different monitors appear on the surface screen and I have to once again move them to the different screens.

Both are annoying, are these known issues and is there a solution? TIA

when you say wifi drops, do you mean the connection goes off or the speed drops or the wifi option just disappears?

I lose wifi altogether - the connection goes off and I can no longer connect to the net
