Surface Pro 6 Video Downloads

So I just bought a Surface Pro 6, trying to move away from Apple. I own an iPad and Macbook Pro and would only like one device. I travel a lot and download movies onto my ipad via Prime Video and Google Play Movies. Is there a way to download movies on my Surface? So far I've tried PlayOn, which doesnt work well at all. I really love the Surface, and having one device in my backpack is perfect. Any little hack will help.

Please define 'download a movie'? The Surface will run Netflix and Amazon Prime Video (through the website) just fine. You can also purchase movies and TV content from the Store app on your Surface and watch it too.
