Surface Pro Availability and Pricing

I posted this in the Surface Pro forum, but it's pretty dead right now. I figured I'd post it here in case someone is deciding between the Surface Pro and RT:

Next Up for the Surface Family: Surface with Windows 8 Pro

$899 for a 64GB model, with pen but Touch/Type cover sold separably.
$999 for a 128GB model, same deal with the Surface Pen and no cover.

Nice pricing, but still needs to be lower IMO, this doesn't come with cover so essentially stack on another $120 on that price.

I am happy with surface RT and didn't want a full blown laptop, just needs more apps, please

Still only 4gb ram though - if they did an 8gb model I would be sold - Although would have to see how much extortionate tax the UK adds on

Yes, this makes me glad that I went for the Surface RT and did not wait - for my purposes an extra $400 (plus the cost of Office) would not have been worth it, the RT is suiting me just fine!
