Agreed to the free windows 10 update, it got stuck on 71% (91% searching for files) for 4 hours so I did a soft reset (30 seconds top button). It turned back on, showed the surface logo, flashed the outline of a box then goes to a loading screen of 'attempting to recover installation' and stayed like that for 2+hours then overnight. Have done soft and two button resets since, keeps on going back to that screen, no cursor and no responsiveness. I do not want to hard reset as I have a lot of data that has not been backed up on there (silly me) but I had no idea that W10 was having such issues. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
