I think they will take an approach more similar to what Apple now does with the iPad, where there is no version number so they can update individual compontents easier. I think we will se a better processor once there is an nVidia chip that supports USB 3.0 and can push 1080p with Windows RT. They will likely upgrade the screen at that point. Digital ink is, in my opinion, unlikely on a MS branded RT tablet, as it is a very business centric feature and they are pushing business users to go for the Pro version, and giving them digital ink on RT is one less reason for them to pony up for the Pro.
