Tango now available for AT&T and Canada

I concur with others have said about the camera. Color reproduction and exposure seems tweaked for the better. Hopefully I'll take some pics when it's not cloudy and rainy outside.

From the update point of view my phone updated yesterday as a guest account on my work machine with no issues. It took about 45 minutes and received all 3 packages. I really like the flip phone over to silence.

Is flip-to-silence on by default? I can't seem to find it in the settings menu.

Yes it is. You can't toggle it ON or OFF. Always ON.

Auto brightness seems vastly improved.

Inside camera pics have much truer color (and brighter).

Screen seems more responsive (not that I had any complaints about that before).

If the volume buttons work--reliably--under the lock screen, I will be very happy....

Volume buttons under lock-screen worked flawlessly last night at the gym. Yea !

Auto brightness actually useful now.

Overall phone reception seems to have improved. I think I have better call reception in otherwise weak areas. Data, web page loads, seem much faster, too.

I suppose the camera could still be better, but I think the phone is now (finally) working as advertised...

Pulled the updates yesterday afternoon. No problem. Actually there were three updates 1) takes you to 7.10.8773.98
2) takes you to 7,10,8779,8
3) FW update to 2175-2301.8779.12223
and a mysterious Nokia update?
All in all, took around 30minutes on out very fast internet service. I was actually pleasantly surprised that AT&T rolled them out so soon after the release.

Another fix is searching for weather using Bing and clicking on it actually brings you to the correct page

I haven't been able to get it (8779) yet, but another person I know with Rogers says he got it.

Was testing using AUTO Settings on everything and took pictures in low lighting. I'm impressed with the quality.

seem to no longer get crazy loud buzzing noises from audio jack if power is plugged in. i used to have to just stop charging so my audio is clearer.

Im on Roger and recieved the first of the updates today.....the 16th......all the new nokia apps work but havent tested anything else.

Got my update true believers! You know what? The camera tweaks actually make me WANT to snap a few photos now. Very nice feature integration and the pics appear to handle low light situations a lot better. Overall, the phone feels even more fluid and I even think my battery life is a tad better. Nice improvements! I'm looking forward to WP7.8 soon.

There have been no announcements, but I don't think it will ever come. AT&T put the Quantum on EOL in October 2011. I've just started updating mine myself.

I still can't believe that wifi still disconnects after phone goes to sleep. This is totally unbelievable as other devices have a wifi sleepy policy which we can enable or disable if we choose. C'mon Microsoft! WTF?
