Texting to numbers that are not labeled as mobile

When I type a name in I only get numbers that are labeled as mobile numbers. But what if I want to send a text to a number that marked as work but it is a cell phone?

U select a contact u want to text. Press the arrow icon on the bottom of the screen, then tap other phone numbers, and voila, select the desired number and send ur text.

I tried texting using Messaging Icon which is more intuitive way. BTW, iPhone 5 will show all contact's numbers as soon as you enter the name. That's the way it supposed to work I think. Again, thanks for the help.
