Pull to refresh? I suspect this does not mean what comes to mind...

Per Aqib Raza's suggestion, reposting this here:
I love the discussions in the WPC Forums and only have one "small" request...
I don't need email notification when someone likes, thanks, or replies to something I've posted. I'm here often enough to check the notifications in the Forums heading. But would it be very difficult to add a notification there for quotes?
i.e., someone may not click the like or thank buttons, but may reply or, more likely, reply and quote me. The only way to find out is to view threads in which I've participated and scan through all the posts that follow my own...
Thank you, WPC team, for taking such good care of all 220,000 of us!
This is possible. You need to browse the forums via desktop to do so. Go to your profile a d tap on settings/general settings/under messaging and notifications tab/default thread subscription mode/select through my control panel only.

TY, Himanshu, but I don't want to subscribe to every thread, I just want to be notified if someone quotes me or replies to me...
Am I misunderstanding how the setting works?
If you post a new thread you will be subscribed to that thread. But you can unsubscribe from that thread by taping on thread tools/unsubscribe from this thread. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/22/va5u8a7e.jpg
Or you can multi select your subscribed threads over here http://forums.windowscentral.com/subscription.php and then select the appropriate option http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/22/ygu8a4ym.jpg

Ah. See there's the difference. I don't want notification every time a new post is added to a thread (imagine that on the 100K challenge), only when someone replies to my post with or without quoting me.
We have a beta but it is closed to the public, there are only 100 spots and I like to make sure the people filling those spots are able to give me useful reports and feedbackA beta app for WP central where we can enjoy new features while they are tested. No dout the WP central is quite up to the mark in delivering latest news, I personally think a new UI is necessary just like the one tapatalk received one major update. We know its not that hard. Thank you
Can we get ambassador functions/ tools for threads ? Or just the new tapatalk implemented with image upload support.
No problem if I am not included, its great to hear that you guys have a beta, we the public will be looking forward to the new features and UI in the major updates to come......keep up the great work. I would be interested in image upload support and mod tools. The Tapatalk app now features mod tools as well as image upload.
Is the new notification sound going to get tweaked from what it currently is? I like how it's the WPCentral video theme, but there's something about it which makes it sound more like a cut and paste (which I'm assuming it is) instead of a notification like the built in WP notification sounds.
Yes it's the new default notification sound for WPC app. Last 2-3 sec sound of WPC video , ding ding lol. I like it

If you're running WP8.1, you may use a custom notification sound if you dislike the default sound.I know it's from the videos, but I think it should be changed a little to make it sound better as a notification. Maybe have the beginning few milliseconds be a little quieter or something.

Add some more options for lockscreen feature like "Weather support"
