the ideal combo (manufacturer+OS)

Here I am a little frustrated with WP8 on my L920 and wondering what would have been an ideal combo (manufacturer+OS) that would suite me. Turns out, if not for the app ecosystem/OS update path I would have stayed with nokia+symbian or may have given nokia+android a try.

So what would be your ideal combo of manufacturer+OS assuming that any combination is possible and every app is available on every OS. The combination purely on the manufacturer quality/innovation and the functionality/usability of the OS

Aslo do mention your current phone and the one you had before this, just to see if you still love the prev combo secretly

Ideal Combo : Nokia+symbian or Nokia+android
Current: Nokia+WP8 (L920)
Prev: Nokia+Symbian (N8)

MS needs a couple of years with wp8 to make it a true OS and 920 has been a miserable experience. Beautiful phone but one problem after another. I'm going to go android in May and give MS a couple of years to get WP fixed. Right now, if I could have wp8 UI and smoothness with Android options and capabilities, and put it in Sony or Samsung hardware, perfection.
