could be an issue with the Lumia 830s buttons yep. Just add a thin layer of polymer and you can easily make the already poorly responsive buttons non-workable. I will look up Clear Coat - thanks.

I have tried screen protectors from 2 companies so far and in both instances the search button will not work. Does yours work and if yes would you mind sharing which one you exactly got?

I've applied the Skinomi full body protector and it does look like transparent skin on the body. It's hard to notice that the phone has a coating unless one really looks at the phone carefully. Capacitive button and screen response has definitely gone down but I'll get used to it. The good part about Skinomi is that it even protects the phone's metal bands from scratches.

Received the Incipio Octane today (black). I love it and of the 4 cases I've tried this is the best one. It's expensive but well worth it. There is nothing moving or wobbly unless you push really hard. The buttons work flawlessly. I love the fact that you can see the original color through the clear PC on the back. The phone is very well protected.

A few places now on eBay. From UK, Spain and now China as well. Some from China go for~$10. I doubt they are OEM though. I will wait a little longer when there are a few more sources available before I buy an orange battery cover.

It's a brazilian website like eBay. I've paid R$36 for the case + shipment, and it arrived at my home in less than 3 days. It's a very nice case, keeps your phone secure and clean. Also, it fits better in the hand than the "naked" phone.

The texture of this case is more like rubbery, that helps with the grip a lot.

Here you go some pics I hope will be helpful, you'll notice I'm not using the included screen protector, well, It doesn't cover the whole screen and also I'm not likely to use them, love the appareance of the screen alone.

I just bought a Tudia case. The case from Amek and Exact did not fit my phone because of the slight thickness from the Skinomi body protector

Thanks. I drilled through the pages @ Amazon and found the case. Almost bbought it. Someone in the reviews said the case was difficult to put on and they ended up cranking their screen. The outside portion of the case does look like a pain because on the corners. I may get it still, but I ordered a different case in the meantime.

I wish Otterbox would make a commuter for it, but since it's not and iPhone or Android, no go there.
