The Quest For the Best Lumia 830 Cases (+Updated w/Reviews!)

Re: I know it's too early to ask, but has anyone found good Lumia 830 case?

Hows the button click feel? Is it like those cheap cases on eBay? Or does it actually click?

Buttons click just fine with the Eve case that I got. One thing I noticed is little warpage on bottom left side. But you have to be looking really closely to actually see it. Wish the back was not frosted but clear like the sides. Not bad for the price though.

Can you post pics of the Octane case please? I'd appreciate that.

I'm curious how it looks and how much thickness the Octane case adds. Do the TPU edges make the phone easier to hold?

I just received this one in the mail today.
CASEFORMERS Duo Armor RED for Nokia Lumia 830 Combo Case with Stand and Holster
by CASEFORMERS
Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NTI2DR...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUwpUvbUpU2864796

Fits perfectly and looks really nice. Very light as well but sturdy. Will try and get some pictures up later but it DOES allow wireless charging before anyone asks lol.

Terrapin clear case from Amazon. Fits well but makes the buttons a little tough to press. Not a huge issue though.

the rubber edges are around 1/8 inch thick and the clear plastic is around 1/16. It fits the phone like a glove and I'm very pleased with the build quality. The rubber edges make it much easier to hold as well as make the buttons easy to find. WP_20141118_17_01_37_Pro.jpgWP_20141118_17_01_30_Pro.jpgWP_20141118_17_01_17_Pro.jpg

can you post a close up with case on the phone from an angle like your second image?
I only see the colored ones on the MS Store site at the moment. Seems that the black one is out of stock. Are they all clear on the back? I did not realize that when I first looked at them.
thanks

edit: went back to MS Store site and read that back is transparent PC - cool.

You can use it without the black clip stand.

The Incipio case actually looks nice, thanks for the pictures!

I also got the Incipio cases. I have the "clear" NGP case that AT&T sells and the Octane case with the pink bumper that the Microsoft Store sells. They're both very nice quality cases that fit really well and the buttons work great. Not sure which I like better at this point. They both feel nice to hold and don't add much bulk. The NGP case is softer and more flexible. The battery cover color shows through, but it's definitely more muted since the case isn't actually clear. More like a frosted transparent white. The Octane case has a rigid back and TPU bumper. It has a frosted clear back and the battery cover color shows through a lot better (stays truer to the original color) than on the NGP case. For the ladies out there that like a colorful phone, I must say I'm liking the pink and green combination of the pink bumper Octane case with the green battery cover. The pink is actually more magenta than what the pictures show on Incipio's web site. I bought orange and white battery covers on eBay, and the pink bumper looks great with them too. Can't go wrong with either the NGP or the Octane Incipio cases.

I have this transparent case and it is excellent. Take a look.

Updated with Reviews of the cases I have so far.

just ordered the featherlite case from Cimo Technologies off Amazon. Should arrive tomorrow, I'll chime in w/ my thoughts.

I love my octane by incipio! Works well with a screen protector as well!
I have tried screen protectors from 2 companies so far and in both instances the search button will not work. Does yours work and if yes would you mind sharing which one you exactly got?
thanks

I got the Clear Coat, It's good. Sort of like an invisible shield but better in my opinion. Comes with two as well. Usually at malls they have kiosks but if you don't have one, they have a site. I have noticed sensitivity reduced on the back button but not to the point where it isn't worth it. I have read though that lots of people had capacitive button issues so I mean, maybe its the buttons themselves?
