Hey guys, I was just wondering, when can we expect the Lumia Icon to be sold on third party retailers like Best Buy, Amazon or other online places? Right now Best Buy doesn't have it listed but Amazon does, at $149 on contract, but we can't place orders on it yet.
How long does it usually take before phones get onto third-party retailers? How long did it take before the 928 was dropped on sites like Amazon or Wirefly?
The reason is I want to save a bit of money as these phones are really expensive if you add up all the fees. $199 for phone, $50~ for sales tax, and then $30~ upgrade fee on the bill. Then add a case a case or screen shield. Saving a few bucks would be nice. I would totally get the Icon right now if it were $150 at Verizon. It looks to be a great phone, and an awesome upgrade to my Trophy. I guess I will have to wait and see.
