Titan Screen Resolution with Future Updates

I was wondering if anyone thinks it's possible that when apollo comes out if the titan would be able to support higher screen resolutions? Just not sure if it's just an OS limitation or both an OS and Hardware limitation.

Ordered mine today through our corporate account so no telling when it gets here lol.

I've been thinking about that too. My guess is that it's a limitation of the OS. I'm sure the panel can support above 800 x 480.

I doubt it. The Sensation XL, which (shoud) uses the same panel as the Titan, though running Android (where no realisitc resolution limit is set in software), is still at 800x480.

It's a hardware limitation. Android is not constrained by the WP 800x480 resolution, and yet the HTC Sensation XL also has 800x480. The Sensation XL is essentially the Android version of the HTC Titan, but it also sports a dual-core CPU which WP isn't ready for.

XL is using the same 1.5GHz 8255t single core the Flyer and Titan use :shocked:
