To late for a L1520?

Looking for a new phone to replace my 640, I was thinking maybe a 925, but I then seen the 1520 and the specs are still amazing. But my question is, would it be dumb to buy an older phone? I found one for $200, worth it or not? Thank you.

FWIW I love my 1520 still.
