To those experiencing data issues

Ok, so my sister and girlfriend are about to be 900 owners, off my recommendation. I want them to be completely satisfied with their phone (especially since my sister is dropping her 4S) and I'm curious about this data problem. What exactly is it? Does pulling the SIM out and back in fix it? How often does it happen?

It happens different for everyone. Your best to check the other threads in here concerning the problem. There are workarounds until the patch is applied next week. If they purchase in the AT&T store though, chances of getting a faulty one are slim as they have begun issuing 'good' devices.

Pulling the SIM does not fix it, but inputting APN info does seem to help (thats what I did today).
