Today's Xbox Music Update

Hey I've updated my Xbox music app and i'm on 8.1 cyan running the Lumia 1520

the live tile is not working any ideas as to why? my software is 8.10.12397.895

any help would be greatly appreciated

It will work with GDR1 update

Actually Live Tile will work on Windows phone 8.1 update 1 (GRD1) you're using Lumia Cyan which is only Windows Phone 8.1 wait for GRD updates or you can join preview for developer program and get update 1.

The update isn't available for me yet in the us. Does it fix the playlist reading issue with playlists made from windows media player not showing up. I've had this problem ever since the last update.

Nope! You are running Preview for Developers (8.1) and you need to update your phone with GDR -1.

you are on the normal release track and have normal non "Update" 8.1.
There has been another update released via the Preview for Developers program dubbed Update 1 or Windows Phone 8.1 Update. (think of it as WP 8.1.1 or 8.2 if you will)

so no live tile for you just yet.

Never mind it just showed up.

Well, Xbox music reads my playlists made from windows media player now. Had to do a soft reset for it to update and read it though. Hope I don't have to do that everytime I put a new playlist on the phone, by at least it plays them now.

Kinda cool the live tile even works with the tile pinned as a small tile.

help me i cant install the music app update. it download but always shows error when installing. error code - 80073cf9
