So why the hell has the 1520 roll out seemingly ground to a halt after it was released last week for a few regions/carriers?

Nokia Page updated. At least says it's available for 1320 CV / VF in Germany.
Nothing for my 1520

Probably 1020 next.. so it looks like theyre working backwards releaseing a device a week, although not quite sure where the 925 stands then.

I hope this is not the case.. as we 1020 owners will have to wait another week for our Cyan .

I bet this is too do with all the MS layoffs and theyre using interns to upload the servers..

I think we can safely say that the Nokia page is not a reliable information source. It is still saying the 1320 in under testing in the UK despite many people having it.

Interestingly, no one at Nokia is responding to the claim by O2 (UK) that they have tested and approved ALL Lumia devices for release and passed back to Nokia for immediate release. Someone is not listening!

Nobody at Nokia..... or perhaps SoftNokia is more accurate.....seems to be listening.Cyan for the 520 on O2 UK has been available since last Thursday (that is when my Wife's phone updated) but is not shown on any official(ish) update page including O2.

For companies involved in communications this does not inspire much confidence...

well 1020 is next even i guess that......and 925 is already out for some regions...
so update should come for 920 820 720 n all...

man but if its going to be one phone per week....that'll be totally ****..hope they release more that 2 devices per week

Maybe Microsoft could employ the 18,000 people they are making redundant to push through the testing phase and get this release rolled out?

So I purchased my 1520 from Malaysia. I reside in Australia.

No 8.1 update as yet?

Was previously running 8.1 for DP.
Then reverted back to 8 by using Nokia Software Recovery Tool.

Should I be able to update to 8.1?

Not yet bro, I'm waiting for update Malaysia region.

Removing 18,000 Employee REALLY SLOWED THE UPDATE PUSHING SYSTEM man... -_- Why not turn them into tester, i can double bet you It will be a WORLD Record, such that, the official coders/developers develop an Update, the next day or two are testing day & on the VERY THIRD day, update it out GLOBALLY WORLDWIDE........ OMFG that's like a DREAM )
