Here!! *jumps up and down*

I was a bit concerned our phone was seen as lower cast because no one was really mentioning it. Personally, I think it is a great bit of kit.
I gotta say, the 82x series is probably the most underrated. It's the most balanced I think, with MicroSD, potential wireless charging, removable battery, 1 GB of memory, a great cam (I think it's the 920 w/o OIS), AMOLED, Glance, basically, it's the high end Lumias without the high end features (notably PureView tech); the budget high end Lumia basically imo.

It will probably be updated right after L920 if im not wrong, that might be august 1 or 2 weeks which again depends on carriers -_- i really want 8.1 badly on my 820 for apps and game downloads to Sd card....

I know this is going off topic, but hey! Lets have a short 820 love-in!

I liked the idea of the removable battery and the micro SD card the most which is what sold the phone to me over the 920 - more flexibility. A Carl Zeiss lens on an 8mp camera with dual LED flash. Only weakness really is the forward facing camera, but then with a face like mine, as the saying goes, 'you can't polish a ****' :winktongue:

It is the ability to save Apps to the SD card that I am really looking forward to Cyan whenever it arrives (bringing us nicely back on-topic!)

I think you're right, they'll probably do an apple stunt in that this will be the last major update for these phones.

I had an 820 before my 920 and yes it was a good phone, but what really got to me was the resolution, it wasn't good. I have a Moto G for work and comparing the 2 was like night and day, the Moto G was pin sharp.

This is the unicorn model for US. It is the latin american version RM-938

It is supposed to be from Mexico, but it could be a general CV for Latin America, as mine had some Colomabian brochure.

By the way, it first download an small update and the when you check again, it start the bigger download.

I will edit when it is completed.
