You need to downgrade to WP8 using the Nokia Software Recovery tool. Only then you will get the update if it is available. Cyan update has currently be blocked for WP8.1 developer preview.

At least Nokia India are affording you the courtesy of some kind of response (however inaccurate). They obviously haven't had the 'keep silent' memo.

It's not available in India for Lumia 1020 Windows Phone 8 users too.

Guys I think there is a problem with 1520 from Hong Kong because the update for 1320 came after 1520 update and it's available there but nothing for 1520 and if it will take too long I will flash a new rom and stuff my warranty

Some might say that's a prudent approach. Others might say it's a clear indication that they're not confident in the product and/or its testing process.

yeah i too feel that although we are being subjected to waits.... Still updates are going along without hassles. So better wait than getting problems later on

I remember when I used to be on Android forums waiting for updates to custom ROMs, the standard answer was "2 weeks." The update might have been uploading at the moment, or it might have not even yet been thought about. We were told 2 weeks!

. I'm determined not to get irritated by a slow roll out but bought brand new L1520 from Amazon UK 2 weeks ago . No indication that it was not a uk model but turned out to be HK phone. If the update for HK doesn't begin soon I am going to assume there is a problem and send the phone back. Not gonna risk being stuck with a phone that doesn't get updates. Getting annoyed now..... shouldn't cause it's just a stupid phone but I am. Just get on with it.
