Track WP8.1 + Lumia Cyan Rollout!

What a shame. I've getting bored with waiting the update.. No update available for NL1020 yet :| (Sorry my bad english!) ...

Buy a new phone. Like what I just did. I'm not using Windows Phone anymore at this moment because my new android phone is way better, cheaper than my Lumia920. Tired of waiting the update from Micro$oft and tired of feeling annoying with the buggy OS such as lock screen freeze, worst battery life, heating, crashing. Not sure if I will come back to Windows Phone because I feel in love with my Android Phone just few weeks of using it . I was too stupid thinking that WP is better than android (because I never had Android phone before). WP might be better one day but it would take ages for that to happen.

Wow, then good luck with Android !
I just left Android phones after 5 years... speaking of worst battery life and buggy OS, Android is by far the worst. Memory leaks, FCs, poor updates, bloatware from carriers are terrible (again, worst than WP8). To be as snappy/fluid as WP8, you need a 4 cores processor and plenty of ram !
If you want to improve, then you have to go in geek mode (flash/try different roms, with the risk of bricking your phone... optimizing the ram management, OC, etc.).
Problem with Android is that it is not specific to one phone or equipment (proc/ram/etc.). So it depends totally of the specs of the phone.
Lumias (for example) are optimized for WP (as iOS is optimized for iPhone) ... makes a big difference !

I mean, my Lumia 521 is waaaaaay smoother than my ex LG L9 and even my ex G2. As for freezes, crashes and such, I almost never experienced those problems.
After 5 years of tweaking/flashing/bricking-unbricking/etc., coming back to WP (I was an inconditionnal until WP6.5) is such a relief ! I don't feel the need to spent 70% of my time trying to improve my phone. Now, I currently USE my phone for REAL.

Its obvious how i got it.

After flashing the stock ROM the phone updated twice, the second being Cyan.

Due to my previous firmware & regional restrictions the mapping apps wouldn't work & was a HUGE ANNOYANCE for me! Now its working as it SHOULD!!

Hello to All! I will take the freedom of doing a comment strictly under MY opinion, with the whole respect. I possess a lumia 928 with DP (because of it, I check the updates) and after well-read credit in many other post on 925, 620, 1520 and the cyan, I came to the conclucion of some things. First, who we are in DP already have the final version of 8.1 (you can check it in Daniel's review on 930) And in second, with the exception of the lumia 1520 and the ICON/930 other devices do not receive any major improvement (besides a supposed increase in the consumption of battery) not at least in the camera department , we were better treated when they relase the BLACK update.... Let's try to relax each other a bit with the pressure for obtaining the cyan (all of us that do not have a 1520 or ICON/930) and you?ll see you're going to enjoy your devices like when they came! And as for battery, with normal use it gives me a load of little more of 24 hours. Thank you for the attention and forgive any mistake of translation

Your location doesn't matter, only the phone's region/operator, ie. you'll get it when it's released in Singapore.
