Track WP8.1 + Lumia Cyan Rollout!

Hello,

I just received two updates, one small and one large through update your phone and now have 8.1 + Cyan. Just thought I'd let you all know so other 1520 owners on Vodafone in the UK can check their phones.

I was on DP but used the Nokia Recovery Tool to recover back to 8.0 to get this.

All the best,
Iain.

We are in the 1st week of august and we still don't have wp8.1 for Lumia 720 in India. Should i go for developer version or wait for official cyan. If i go for developer version will i get the update 1 along with 8.1. It is just released so im afraid that there will be many bugs. Please help need serious advice.

Neither do the majority of WP8 Lumias across the globe...

This is getting beyond a joke now. I can't believe the contempt Microkia/Nokiasoft are holding their customers in by not letting anyone know exactly (or even vaguely) what is going on.

We could be compared to Mushrooms really...

Kept in the dark and fed on sh...., but we aren't even being fed any information.

using UPDATE 1 on my lumia 820- no bugs detected during 2 days! works faster, keeps battery better than ever, few new nice functions. tired of waiting for cyan... even don't need it anymore)))

2 days? It was only released like 12 hours ago.... Glad it's good though. Still no Bluetooth 4.0, still waiting for Cyan for that.

Guys, I got below reply from Nokia India when I inquired about Cyan update for Lumia 1020 in India. As per their twitter page, it is available. Can anybody in India confirm?

You really should check your definitions... "available" means it can be accessed - ie downloaded. At present, it cannot be downloaded, therefore it is not available.

seems they are more concerned about getting GDR1 out to the 12% of users who are on 8.1 than they are about getting the other 88% of users on to 8.1.

Not impressed.

Because they're are a bunch of bugs in the cyan release.

Why can't they give us basic 8.1 as an option then if there are problems with CYAN, and then let us update the extra features when they are fixed? Or am I missing the point?

I have dp8.1+gdr1 installed. But no cyan yet in India for L925.
its already out dude!! Cyan update is there go check the Nokia website.... Your on developers preview that's why there is no update, if u use recovery tool u will moved to old black version then can get it, 925,1520,1320,625 have released globally to most countries
