Track WP8.1 + Lumia Cyan Rollout!

Then Next week 620 & 525.
Then lastly my mobile Lumia 520 and famous one will get an update.
What bad?

i got the update.. i changed my phone region to USA to try out cortana.. but it isnt there.. anyone knows why??

Region, keyboard, language, and speech settings must all be set to English US to get Cortana outside the USA.

I've just downloaded it, unpacked and there is one file : "NWP8_simlock_3gstandard_bb5_crcA59A"
So, when i flash it, will i have a simlock?

Edit: I guess all roms have this file, and for other users, india rom name is: 059V6V6
so you can download it using data package manager.

No, you won't have simlock. All Lumia phones for India are CV. So no simlock. I have that file in my Lumia 1020 ROM that I flashed but didn't get simlock. You are good to go.

I have sent a couple of tweets @NokiaSoporte in Mexico to see if they give some more details like when it will be available or at least a timeframe.. nothing interesting yet on the first response, only the link to the Nokia Global support page.. let see what they have to say.. let's make some pressure! :grin:

Makes me want to storm in to TMo HQ and break stuff and curse at the top of my lungs enraged that they are sitting their Fat butts on the update instead of working on it hard and fast and continually informing their Lumia users on their progress with Cyan.

Which of course means that they know (at least approx.) when they'll release it... but they won't tell us because if something goes wrong and it comes out late, we'll yell at them ;-)

T-Mo just want us to give up our WinPhones to switch to the other two "famous" OSes... Not on our watch! Again, T-MO: Do the Right Thing--Release the updates Later THIS MONTH
