Hi, I am a 15 year old developer and have made this app. The main idea is that it gives users semitransparent tiles and control over the level of transparency. With the free version, you can pin up to 3 tiles, and for a dollar, you can pin as many as you want out of the 33 and growing amount of apps. I'd love to have this app be promoted on the front page, as I need to gain users. You can check the progress of this app here or in my "Translucent Tile app in works" thread.

I will be pushing out a minor update tomorrow night fixing a name issue in the app.

Working on September's update. Will include shortcuts for evernote, lync and more. Turns out the issues with Office and OneNote are due to 8.1 and are not on my end. I'll keep the shortcuts in just in case they get fixed. Update will be out at the end of the month.

Currently cleaning up a lot of code. Reduced the code of this app to about 1/10 of what it used to be. Going to add a lot more shortcuts by the next update. Stay tuned!

I was considering ddoing that if I run into issues, but I asked my dad to help and its working well.

Expect a large update in the coming days. Some features included: More tiles, opacity slider with preview in app, more efficient, and more.

I have been notified that the Skype tile no longer works after the Skype update. That is however out of my hands, as it is on MSFT's end of things. I will keep the tile in the app in case they fix it.

Rushing to finish the update but I am behind. Expect it on the weekend or Monday for sure.

I am very sorry for all the delays, but for me, schoolwork is my top priority right now, and I have a lot of demanding classes. I will finish and push out the update as soon as I can, but please be patient. Another update will come in October, as well.

Great app man! Pretty awesome idea! Though If you want this featured on WPCentral you probably want to post this to the App Spotlight forum! That'll get you more publicity!

I have a thread about it there since its inception, but no result. Even Daniel Rubino looked at it a while back.
