turning off wifi is slow

Hi, my wifi on 8x works fine, when i turn on it finds near by wifi connection and connects fast, but when i turn it off, it takes like 20 to 30 sec to off? its starting to annoy me..
does it happen with all windows phone or just my phone? :unhappysweat:

Takes a while on mine too, I do just hit the home button right after turning it off so it won't bother me!!!
