Ugly live tiles

I haven't really seen this mentioned but has anyone else noticed how ugly the live tiles are in the W10TP compared to W8.1? It seems odd to deliberately make this change. The sizes are smaller, the fonts are different, the alignment of the text/images is different. Everything just seems off.

Seems about the same to me except for the size, I agree, they are smaller. However, keep in mind, the live titles in 8.1 are on the desktop and the ones in Windows 10 is part of the start button. They have to be smaller.

Yup, they are even smaller on high resolution devices where if you have the dpi level set at 100 percent.

Which is *exactly* why I dislike the fact they've removed the ability to render the old start screen on my Catleap WHQD display - Windows 10 is a step backwards in that respect
