UK Cortana spelling

Has anyone else noticed that when dictating through Cortana in the UK, words such as favourite and colour use the US spellings, whereas when dictating thriugh the messaging app the correct spellings are used for the chosen speech language?
Doubt it is just a problem only I am encountering, just find it odd that with the language set to English (UK) it uses English (US).
