Update problem- Phone brought from China. - Using in India

My friend got a new lumia 520 from china. i tried to update it to amber and its not happening, it just shows checking for updates for a pretty long time then shows error 80072ee2...any possible solutions. phone is currently in use in India.

Have you tried restarting the phone?
