"Uploaded via Windows Phone" removed?

Okay so I will post my question here too because nobody answered in facebook thread.

"Hey

Anyone else noticed that after 8.1 update when you upload photo on FB it no longer shows "Uploaded via Windows phone" on facebook

I guess its because right now it redirects you to integrated FB app and uploads from there. But why? Is it possible to change this? Why would MS do this? It takes away the "advertising" from the post."

How do you uploaded it ? Do you use any third party apps or directly from photo album?

Does it also redirect you to official facebook app when you click on share via facebook?

and of course the main thing, do you use WP 8.1 ?

I have a lumia 920 running windows phone 8.1 developer preview. I have Facebook installed on my phone. I uploaded photo from photo hubs using the share charms menu. It redirects me to Facebook app.

I already did, that was actually first thing I did.

edit: hmm, maybe its somehow connected to the fact that I edited photo in "Black" app but it shouldnt be, Ill try to upload original photo and let you know.

Sorry for really late reply, tried it this weekend and it didnt worked. I didnt used any editing app.

EDIT: Oh I see. It shows "uploaded via windows phone only when you click on the photo". But when you are scrolling the facebook wall, you wont see it like before.

I tried to find my older photos and I could see that even without clicking on the photo. Dunno why they changed it.

I thin when we had the FB integration in the OS itself and used the ME tiles to update the status etc. it always showed UPDATED VIA Windows Phone but even then if you used an app it would show UPDATED VIA FACEBOOK for Windows Phone.

So I think that we no longer have the FB integration in the OS and will always use the app; it will show the later.
