Not sure what you're after here.

A 3 column probably won't come out for L920 as the screen is considered too small. Whether an app or other update will change this ability I have no idea.

As for major update, WP8.1 is coming in April but you probably won't see for a couple of months after that unless by some miracle it is released sooner.

I don't understand why they just didn't allow it anyways and let the users decide if its too small or not
